A few weeks ago we hiked up Y Garn. It's a hard slog up to the top but it's well worth it for the views! Oh, and stopping at @hangin_pizzeria in Betws y Coed for an early supper!
Eat, Drink and Be Merry at Olif
As it was the Saturday before Christmas, we fully anticipated Betws Y Coed to be busy. Dreary weather and icy conditions meant it was surprisingly quiet and perfect for organising the last Christmas gifts.
It also meant that we could make an impromptu lunch stop at Olif, a Welsh tapas restaurant with Welsh/Mediterranean fusion menu. We had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing numerous rave reviews.
