Bagging Caergybi Mountain – Another Marilyn Conquered!

Yesterday morning, we set out to tackle Caergybi Mountain, one of the Welsh Marilyns, and what an incredible walk it was! With the sun shining brightly and a clear blue sky above us, we couldn’t have asked for better conditions to explore this beautiful peak. There’s something special about an early morning hike—crisp air, peaceful surroundings, and the excitement of reaching another summit.

The Hike Up Caergybi Mountain

The route up Caergybi Mountain offers a rewarding mix of terrain, from grassy paths to rocky outcrops, providing a steady but enjoyable climb. As we made our way up, we were treated to spectacular panoramic views over Anglesey and beyond. The landscape stretched out before us in all its glory, reminding us why we love exploring the mountains of Wales.

Standing at the summit, there was a real sense of achievement. It’s always a fantastic feeling to take a moment at the top, soak in the surroundings, and appreciate the journey. With the golden morning sunlight illuminating the hills and coastline, it was a picture-perfect reward for our efforts.

Marking the Achievement

Of course, no summit is truly complete without marking it on our Casgliad Welsh Marilyns Pinboard! Back home, we placed the pin with pride, recording another memorable climb in our journey to complete all of Wales’ Marilyns. It’s such a great way to track progress and relive these adventures.

What’s Next?

There are plenty more Welsh Marilyns waiting to be explored, and we can’t wait to continue this journey. Whether it’s a short but steep climb or a long ridge walk, each one offers something unique and special.
